basic whipped cream
ingredients:
(2) cups heavy whipping cream (cold!!)
(3) Tbsp. sugar
- cream to sugar ratio is approx. 10 : 1.
- (1) cup = (16) Tbsp.
direction:
1. in a cold metal mixing bowl, add (2) cups very cold heavy whipping cream and (3) Tbsp. sugar and start whipping.
- keep the bowl in the freezer before using.
2. continue whipping until firm peaks form.
yield: about (4) cups whipped cream
