basic simple syrup
ingredients:
(1/4) cup water
(1/4) cup sugar
(1) tsp. liquor or extract of your choice (optional)
direction:
1. on medium high heat, combine (1/4) cup water and (1/4) cup sugar in a pan and cook until sugar is completely dissolved.
2. turn off the heat and add (1) tsp. liquor or extract of your choice (optional).
yield: (1/4) cup
